How we scored it
Al/Br/OH inorganic salt; all atoms mineral-origin per mineral counter-ion convention.
What counts. ISO 16128-2 scores the atoms that remain in the final ingredient. Reagents, solvents, catalysts and protecting groups used during manufacture leave no mass behind and are not counted.
Where it comes from
Manufactured from aluminum hydroxide and hydrobromic acid, both mineral-derived inorganic feedstocks. No organic or petrochemical route is used.
In plain English
An antiperspirant and astringent mineral salt of aluminum and bromine, chemically similar to the more common aluminum chlorohydrate. It works by forming a gel that temporarily reduces sweat flow.
