How we scored it
Botanical root extract; entire mass plant-derived, scored 1.0 by convention.
What counts. ISO 16128-2 scores the atoms that remain in the final ingredient. Reagents, solvents, catalysts and protecting groups used during manufacture leave no mass behind and are not counted.
Where it comes from
Extracted from the roots of vetiver grass, often via solvent extraction or steam distillation for the related oil. No synthetic route is used commercially.
