How we scored it
Steviol glycoside purified intact from stevia leaf; no synthetic fragment.
What counts. ISO 16128-2 scores the atoms that remain in the final ingredient. Reagents, solvents, catalysts and protecting groups used during manufacture leave no mass behind and are not counted.
Where it comes from
Produced by water extraction and purification from Stevia rebaudiana leaves. Some supply uses enzymatic bioconversion of other steviol glycosides, still starting from the natural leaf extract.
In plain English
A natural sweet compound purified from stevia leaves, used in skincare for its skin-conditioning effects.
