How we scored it
Whole botanical leaf extract; site rule assigns extracts NOI 1.0, no fragment split needed.
What counts. ISO 16128-2 scores the atoms that remain in the final ingredient. Reagents, solvents, catalysts and protecting groups used during manufacture leave no mass behind and are not counted.
Where it comes from
Psidium guajava leaves are harvested and extracted (water/glycerin/ethanol) to give this astringent, skin-conditioning extract. No petrochemical alternative route applies to a botanical extract.
