How we scored it
Decaglycerol (from glycerin, natural) esterified with 10 oleic acid (natural fatty acid) molecules; condensation water not counted → both fragments natural = 1.00.
What counts. ISO 16128-2 scores the atoms that remain in the final ingredient. Reagents, solvents, catalysts and protecting groups used during manufacture leave no mass behind and are not counted.
Where it comes from
Made by polycondensing glycerin (from fat-splitting or biodiesel) into decaglycerol, then esterifying with oleic acid from vegetable oil. Both feedstocks are natural-origin; no petrochemical route is used commercially.
In plain English
An emollient made by linking ten glycerin units to ten oleic-acid (olive/vegetable-oil type fatty acid) molecules. Both building blocks are plant-derived.
