How we scored it
Where it comes from
Olaflur combines a fatty (stearyl) chain, usually from natural fats, with a synthetic aminopropyl-bis(hydroxyethyl) linker built from petrochemical ethylene oxide and amine chemistry, then salted with hydrogen fluoride from mineral fluorspar. No dominant 'natural' alternative exists for the synthetic linker.
