How we scored it
Where it comes from
Harvested Lantana camara flowers, leaves and stems are extracted with water, ethanol or glycerin-type solvents, then filtered. No synthetic route exists; a carrier such as propylene glycol is a separate INCI line and is not scored here.
In plain English
An emollient (skin-softening) ingredient extracted from the flowers, leaves and stems of Lantana camara, a flowering shrub in the verbena family. It is a mixture of plant compounds rather than a single chemical.
CosIng definition: Lantana Camara Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract is the extract obtained from the flowers, leaves and stems of the Wild Sage, Lantana camara L., Verbenaceae
