How we scored it
Aerial-parts extract: all atoms from plant material (alkaloids, flavonoids, acids); solvent leaves no mass. Natural mass fraction 1/1 = 1.00.
What counts. ISO 16128-2 scores the atoms that remain in the final ingredient. Reagents, solvents, catalysts and protecting groups used during manufacture leave no mass behind and are not counted.
Where it comes from
Dominant feedstock is the flowering aerial parts of common fumitory (Fumaria officinalis), extracted with water, ethanol or a cosmetic glycol. No synthetic route exists.
