How we scored it
Dried, ground seed powder = 1.0 by convention (powders are natural origin).
What counts. ISO 16128-2 scores the atoms that remain in the final ingredient. Reagents, solvents, catalysts and protecting groups used during manufacture leave no mass behind and are not counted.
Where it comes from
Produced by drying and grinding acai palm seeds. No synthetic alternative.
In plain English
A gentle exfoliating powder made from ground acai seeds, also used to condition skin. It is simply the dried seed, milled down.
