How we scored it
Dried, ground leaf powder: whole plant tissue (cellulose, lignin, tannins, residual terpenes), nothing added or removed chemically. Natural mass fraction 1/1 = 1.00.
What counts. ISO 16128-2 scores the atoms that remain in the final ingredient. Reagents, solvents, catalysts and protecting groups used during manufacture leave no mass behind and are not counted.
Where it comes from
Dominant feedstock is dried leaves of blue gum (Eucalyptus globulus) from plantation trees, milled to a powder. No synthetic route exists.
In plain English
A mild scrub particle (abrasive) used in cleansers and exfoliating products. It is simply the dried leaves of the blue gum eucalyptus tree, ground to a powder.
CosIng definition: Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Powder is the powder obtained from the dried, ground leaves of the Eucalyptus, Eucalyptus globulus, Myrtaceae
