How we scored it
Ground natural resin; fully plant-derived material.
What counts. ISO 16128-2 scores the atoms that remain in the final ingredient. Reagents, solvents, catalysts and protecting groups used during manufacture leave no mass behind and are not counted.
Where it comes from
Made by drying and grinding the resin exuded by the guggul tree (Commiphora mukul). No synthetic alternative route exists for a milled natural resin.
In plain English
Dried, ground resin from the guggul tree, used to condition skin. It is the tree's natural resin milled into a powder.
CosIng definition: Commiphora Mukul Resin Powder is the powder obtained from the dried, ground resin of Commiphora mukul, Burseraceae
