How we scored it
Cold-pressed/distilled essential oil from fruit peel; natural oils = 1.0 by rule.
What counts. ISO 16128-2 scores the atoms that remain in the final ingredient. Reagents, solvents, catalysts and protecting groups used during manufacture leave no mass behind and are not counted.
Where it comes from
Obtained by cold-pressing or steam-distilling the peel of clementine fruit (Citrus clementina). This is the only commercial route for this essential oil.
In plain English
A citrus essential oil pressed or distilled from clementine peel, used to add fragrance and condition skin. It comes directly from the fruit peel with no chemical synthesis involved.
