How we scored it
Ground dried root powder only, no chemical modification; botanical powders score 1.0 by convention.
What counts. ISO 16128-2 scores the atoms that remain in the final ingredient. Reagents, solvents, catalysts and protecting groups used during manufacture leave no mass behind and are not counted.
Where it comes from
The feedstock is the dried root of the Bletilla striata orchid, mechanically ground to a powder. No alternative synthetic route exists.
In plain English
A powder made from the dried, ground roots of the Bletilla orchid, used to condition skin and help bind and thicken formulas.
CosIng definition: Bletilla Striata Root Powder is the powder obtained from the dried, ground roots of Bletilla striata, Orchidaceae
