How we scored it
Complex silicate of Al, Ca, Na and SiO4 from natural minerals; every part is mineral, natural origin under ISO 16128: 1.0.
What counts. ISO 16128-2 scores the atoms that remain in the final ingredient. Reagents, solvents, catalysts and protecting groups used during manufacture leave no mass behind and are not counted.
Where it comes from
Dominant source is refined natural aluminosilicate minerals, with synthetic precipitated grades made from mineral silica, alumina and lime or soda also available. Both routes use mineral feedstocks and give the same value.
In plain English
A fine mineral powder, a complex silicate of aluminium, calcium and sodium refined from natural minerals. It is used as a bulking agent to add body to powders and similar products.
CosIng definition: Aluminum Calcium Sodium Silicate is a complex silicate refined from naturally occurring minerals
